Although swimming and water play is fun for children, do not be careless when carrying it to the pool.
In America, drowning is a major cause of accidental death in children ages 1 to 4 years. Garry Gardner, M. D., president of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention, suggested that mama do not ever take for granted the child in the pool without adult supervision.
The following safety tips to bring children to swim:
swimming lessons. When he was 4 years old, children enter into the swim course. However, he had to learn about how to float in the water and swim right style.
eyes wide open. Do not be negligent supervision of the child while in the pool. At least, there should be one adult in charge to always accompany (or watching) the child during the swim. In the common pool, you can also hire a lifeguard to help supervise children.
Remain in the near children if he could not swim. Make sure you and your child's distance is no more than the hand's length. This is to anticipate in case he needs your help.
Do not rely on buoys 100%. You may feel safe to leave children for giving the tire or lifebelt. But, do not ever rely on the auxiliary equipment, because it could have been any time these buoys scratched and deflated.
Make sure there is a fence around the pool. Fences can keep children do not approach the pool without your knowledge.
Be extra careful when swimming in the sea. Make sure when it is no lifeguard on duty. And, always alert to the warning about high tides, rain, wind, and find out how deep the water before you let the kids jump into the water.
