Tuesday, August 20, 2013
There is a scene kid just dropped or bumped the wall, causing his head bumps. Do you have to take him to the doctor? Or, does he just need a bag of ice, ibuprofen, and hugs to heal the wound?

Read the guidelines below :

Size does not matter. Lump of eggs does not mean serious injury. You should notice it is a symptom that appears after the collision, such as headache, nausea and vomiting, sleep on, sensitive to light, can not concentrate, view the fireflies, or other behavioral changes.

As stated by Michael L. Nance, MD, director of the trauma program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, USA. If a child shows a course of conduct which has been mentioned above, take her to the doctor to undergo further examination.

Yes, collision or indeed a hard blow can cause brain injury or concussion. But, the damage is usually temporary. Do not worry, with the care of a doctor, your child will recover, really.

It takes up to 10 days to recover from a concussion. So, keep your child not to do exhausting physical activity during rest, yes.

Avoid it from the same injured for some time, because the second clash at the same venue will usually give more serious damage.
